Abstract:
Success in the implementation of therapies based on loading protocols and immediate provisionalization in oral implantology requires a solid knowledge of both, biological and prosthetic principles, the way in which these have evolved over time and the way in which they must be applied consistently depending on the different scenarios in order to achieve predictable results in the medium and long term.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this presentation is to review a series of basic concepts, both biological and restorative in oral implantology, focused on loading and immediate provisionalization and the way in which these have evolved and how they have impacted on the development of more predictable techniques that have the objective of the reconstruction, restitution and maintenance of the peri-implant and prosthetic elements that make up the aesthetic and functional environment of an implant-supported rehabilitation.
