 IBOI Certification Application Requirement:

IBOI Part 1 Written Examination

Any Applicant should take Comprehensive Board Review Course (21 CE) in addition of (200 CE the theoretical part)

​IBOI Part 1 Written Examination:​

  • Any Applicant had recognized continuing education courses in Oral Implantology (noted that the Continuing Education Hours (CDE/CME)  are minimum 200 CE for GP and 100 CE for Specialists (Oral Surgeons, Prosthodontists or Periodontists) should include but not limited to the following examples:
     

  • Basic of Implant Surgery

  • Radiology and Computer Diagnostics in Dental Implant

  • Periodontology (Soft and Hard Tissue)

  • Implant prosthetics

  • Pharmacology and Anesthesia

  • Medical Emergencies

  • Advanced Implantology Courses Certificates in :

 

  • Sinus Lifting

  •  Bone Splitting

  • Bone augmentation techniques

  • Nerve Transpositioning

  • Soft tissue management around implants including PRF

  • Digital workflow.

  • Live Cadaver Courses

 

  • The CE/CME courses should be listed in the special form enclosed and send it by email to be evaluated by IBOI Board of Directors to decide how many CE Points can be accepted toward the IBOI

Notes

  •  The Total Fees of Part 1 Written Examination is US$750.

  • You need to pay US$50 as an evaluation fee for your CE Points.

  • You will receive a confirmation letter once your CE points get approved.

  • The evaluation fees will be deducted from the total fees of Part 1 Written Examination.

  •  In case of rejection of your application, the evaluation fees are non-refundable.

Rules of IBOI Examinations:
 

  • Minimum 70% score for part 1 Written Examination.
