Bio:

  • Graduated from St Joseph University Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983 with as degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery.

  • In 1993 he acquired a Certificate in Dental Materials from Paris VII university’ and received a University Diploma in Prosthodontist from the Lebanese University in 2001.

  • He is a Senior Lecturer at the Lebanese University Dental School Post Graduate Program and Clinical Associate, in the department of Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics at the American University of Beirut Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.

  • He is a pioneer in Implant Prosthodontics in the Middle East, and an international lecturer. He has delivered courses and lectures on Advanced Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Courses in Lebanon, Jordan, the USA, Egypt, France United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to name only a few countries.

  • He is currently the President of the International College of Dentists, Middle East Section, served as the Registrar of The International College of Dentists ME Section 2008- 2016, Examiner for the DGZI in Germany for the Specialists Implant Board, President of the Jury of the Esthetic Dentistry MENA Award.

  • He collaborated with colleagues Pr. John Beumer, Pr. Roy Sabri, and Pr. Nabil Barakat to publish a book: Fundamentals of Implant Dentistry: Prosthetic Principles, Volume 1 (Quintessence 2015). He also has plublicications on a variety of topics such as L’orthodontie adulte pour une meilleure prothèse, Agénésie des incisives latérales maxillaires: approche orthodontique et implantaire, and Influence of Prosthetic parameters on the survival and complication rates of short implants…

Abstract:
 

The prosthetic complications in implant dentistry start form the planning, to the surgical that covers soft tissue and bone management. And then after the execution comes the function and we start witnessing many types of prosthetic complications.
